more expensive! lol Much more powerful, and the Axi's are outrunners, as compared to this which is an inrunner. We're getting something around 3.75 HP out of ours, after all we're running it with the worlds largest lipo pack, 6cell 5000mAh, and a 180Amp Castle controller! it's exciting

Castles dont like our bots Sad we have like almost $1000 in electronics sitting on a shelf at school

you know that cc has a repair department, right? i've had good results with cc controllers, and their repair service is pretty good, typically they just send you a brand new one.

PostSubject: THIS IS FINALLY HAPPENING   Tue Nov 03, 2009 6:16 pm

So Although i was wrong about this happening a few months ago, we just got the official flyer/notice about it happening
Rumble at the rock: December 5th 8am-6pm
I'm not sure how many MA kids we have on this forum but i feel as though there arent many. But i hope most of the PA teams show up, i know that Malicous Intent(BLoomsburg) and Titanium Knights (Bergen County) have attended for the past 2 years

Now that the notice is out of the way, i was wondering someone could elaborate on the difference between NRL and botsiq, because our invite to this event was adressed to all BotIQ teams and the provided link was the NRL website. So Ya

Nola runs BotsIQ and Deb Holmes is running the NRL.
From what i understand there was a fall out between Nola and BotsIQ with the ntma(national toolling and maching association)
The ntma loves the program so it started the NRL.
RUmble at the Rock was a BotsIQ regional event as was the Pittsburgh event. I know because of the support the pittsburgh event gets from the NTMA is why its now a NRL event.
Mr Sebastioni? i think was him name was the ref for the NRL national this past spring

ha. never happen
TOO CLOSE TO MIDTERMS.

Remember, I'm paid lots more (and given lots more time) to be a teacher than a robotics coach. If the school wants to 'flip' that equation, then I'm on board, but until then the grades come first.
