From what I saw today, Spiderpig is something pretty special. I think all the hype I've gotten so far is essentially justified; it does something no other robot its size has ever done. All the team has allowed me to say is "it can pull things toward itself". It'll probably look underwhelming when it's not running, but boy... no one will see this coming.

Sorry about the secrecy guys, but I think you'll understand why the first time you see it run.

Will, do you plan to do the sneak peak photo I suggested once it's shipped off? We did something similar in '07 for nationals.

How about you stop with the secrecy now and show us? That way we can plan some sort of defense

A sneak peak will mean nothing. We can show you a picture once the robot is completed and you will have no idea what makes it special.

that's the whole point. well, I'll say as much as that it doesn't have a destructive weapon such as a flywheel, drum, horizontal disc, bar, sawblade, chainsaw, flamethrower, Browning .50 Cal machine gun, or stuffed animal on top.
