pretty much anything goes in here, but I want to establish a few ground rules.
1) this is supposed to be encouraging inter-team relations, so absolutely NO bashing, putting down, blackmailing (unless it's all in good fun), belittling, humiliating, or otherwise hurting another team and/or their reputation. I can and will ban you.
2) Please try your best to follow the categories and forums as guidelines as to what to talk about and where to talk about it. If I find a thread incorrectly placed, I will move it.
3) have fun and be courteous. No one wants to read an endless argument.
4) Tell everyone you know who is active in the battlebots/botsIQ scene to join and participate.
There are some additional things on this forum besides just posting:
-People Skills - This score has to do with how often you post, where you post, and how you post.
-Actual Skills - This score is based on WHAT you post, and is determined by everyone else. If someone puts a really good post up (as in, a good solution to your problem, a good idea, good advice, or just anything else that is really GOOD), click the THX button to thank them. This boosts their Actual Skills score. On the right side of every post is a + and a - button. These are voting buttons for you to say whether a post is good or bad. Clicking the + boosts the poster's score, and clicking the - decreases it. Please don't vote on pointless posts or just click every single + for one of your friends. This is supposed to reflect a user's true experience and skill, so that newer users can see who the best people to get advice from are. If I find that this is being abused, I will remove it. I just thought that it would be kind of a fun measure of who knows what.
thanks!
