has anyone seen a situation like this before?

okay. After my radio refused to connect, I tried rebinding it. So. I put the bind plug in, turn it on, and it blinks fast. I turn the transmitter on, holding the trainer to bind it, and it immediately recognizes this, and starts blinking slowly. Then, instead of going solid, and making a connection, it just shuts off. There is no more light, no more anything from the receiver chip. It never binds, and never connects.

This happened after I turned everything on, and the radio took like two minutes to connect, which I knew was weird, then I pushed my drive stick up, the bot spun in place for half a second, then stopped - the radio disconnected. After about 30 seconds, it came back, and I tried driving again. The bot twitched, then died again. It's a fully charged battery, btw.

All I did was replace the thunderbird!!

I'm thinking... hmm... what happened with the thunderbird is the red signal wire broke at the contact point on the board. This means, the receiver was getting a - and a signal circuit through the thunderbird. Which is how it binds, but it wasn't just a bind because there was a thunderbird in the way. Could this have totally screwed my receiver?

DO I NEED A NEW ONE?! D:

I've spent like an extra $100 on this poo, and I haven't even competed yet!!

yeahhh... but it was working fine. SO I replaced it, and the new one was working fine, but now I have a new problem, which may render me non-competitive. so. I can drive around fine, and I never lose radio signal. When I turn the drum on, at any throttle setting, after about a second or two it will disconnect for about 5-10 seconds, then come back. I CAN'T SPIN MY EFFING DRUM!!

I'vs already told you this

Separate power to receiver..they don't like voltage fluctuation

1 small 6 volt camera battery would work fine...I might have one...if so' I'll bring it

See ya
