conundrum overhaul

I think a large part of the problems I was experiencing with Conundrum were due to my battery not having a high enough output rating. I have increased to a 20C battery (but only 430 mAh, so total Amperage goes up from 6.4 to 8.6) which is also lighter than my other one. This will give me weight for a real cover. I'm extending the back of the frame so things aren't quite so squished inside, and I've redone my front corner blocks. Hopefully I'll have everything ACTUALLY working by saturday! There is also another drum bot in progress (shhh) but I have no idea if it will be completed in time or not.

Well, good news, more good news, and some bad news.

Good news #1 - Conundrum makes weight, with a cover, and everything in full working order.

Good news #2 - I got it to run reliably, spin up the drum every time, and drive around with the drum spinning for three minutes several times in a row.

Bad news - somehow, inexplicably, the same problem I was having over the summer reappeared.

I don't know what happened. I didn't change anything! The radio cuts out worse than ever before! I don't even have to spin the drum, just driving around does it. I don't get it. I just don't fluffing get it.

where is your receiver at? the only places i can see it fitting would have massive emf from the motors. if your still having control issues try doing this with your receiver antenna and place it flat agenst the top poly cover i just realised you have Spektrum gear

yeah, it's an AR6100, wedged under one of the drive motors, right next to the drum. Probably still some interference or something cause it's so glitchy. :/

maby its just a faulty bec on your speed controller or something who knows
