Haven't been on here in a long time. "Acquired" a copy of solidworks and am starting on Icarus (eggbeater/drum) again. Just gonna keep saving money over the months and possibly year to put it towards building him.

But this is for my past bot Redemption. Had a lot of strength, but just as many flaws. You learn from mistakes, and i learned a lot.

Also worthy to mention Aftershock gets a excellent hit after the rumble footage.




The floor-sweeper that hit the ceiling was our junior team's. That hit got me a chicken dinner from our Machine Tool Teacher.

Alex you better hit the ceiling this year.

And all of that with a CRACKED weapon. A full through crack too.

We were shocked that it lasted as long as it did.

We suck at electronics mostly, but dammit I'm proud of my weapon and structural design. That thing was a tank. That shaftless design is flawless aswell. Never bent one bit. As long as i can carry that over and nail down the electronics. Icarus should be awesome.

Fluffy threw Rattler 2 into the ceiling. With speed. It proceeded to burst into flames later on in the competition..
