Im about 2 weeks late even

when i checked it earlier today, there were 43 bots registered! There's a hobbyweight class though... 12 lbs, right?

Cody, we'll probably finally meet there, since it's about 3 hours from CMU so I am definitely planning on going. I should have at least an ant with me...

Hopefully i can go this year, maybe hitch a ride with alex or someone.

Are two 15 pounders allowed to compete as a featherweight?

i cant see why not

2 - 15's can compete but there is a speed limit on the weapons...... Check out their rules on their website..... I think the speed limit is to the sportsmans class only though....Speed might be alright for featherweight class


WE will be there definately..... If anyone needs a ride from the Burgh let me know...

If you have never been there, IT's definately worth the ride and money because of all the activities going on all at once.

Buildersdb says this event takes place the20th-22nd but their website says its a 2 day event what happens on the third day?

Finals for the 7lb and up weight classes.

Friday- Lightweight classes to champion

Saturday - Prelims for 7lb and up down to elite 8 in each class

Sunday - Finals for 7lb and up

I'm making blades for Sting new wierd drum/beater...after testing, if things work out, then I'll be taking it to RMP in January. If the blades stay in the drum, then maybe I'll go, or send Sting up to compete.

No- blade aero looks really good at the moment ...so one way or another, Sting will most likely attend.

I wish the fierc bots would as well...that would bemore motivation...

BDB would be a good test of Sting's ability to hit and take a hit...Gene going might sew the deal....or if fincances are bad. I might just save up for SF...where it really counts.

I'll say that Motorama has more competition than SF in the 3-7-12-30 pound classes...... at least in my mind......

If the new camshaft drum holds up as well as it looks, Sting may travel noorth, into the great white COLD...
