I am thinking of possibly trying to bring a 12 pounder to Nerc.
I've looked at the registered bots, and all but 1 have spinning weapons, so I am thinking maybe a 12 pound version of TTATT...just to test their weapons on the Ti.
If I could get the MLEC students to help the 15 pounder lose some weight, it could later be converted into a 15 with 3 extra pounds of weapon....lol
What do you think?

I think that it is very doable.
Sting'em is right at 15 lbs. , but ttatt has been as low as 14 and change.
If they tweaked ttatt down to 12 pounds, then later converted it to a drum bot, the drum would be unreal...it could weigh well over 6 pounds.
we could save 1/2 pound just on the battery pack, in that the powered wedge draws nothing compared to a drum
