Actually Sting even WITHOUT the drum spining did very well against Jim Smentowski's wedge ...WALLOP
No one got any video, but I bent the shaft (when Sting had an offset beater) and the beater wouldn't spin.
So we hada pushing contest...he tried to flip me with his powered wedge, but Sting was too fast and could charge and backup before he could flip me. The outer Ti pieces (which we call the 'Foghorn Leghorns' cause they look like that rooster from a looney tune chicken hawk cartoon) ...anyhow, they have a wedge shape at the bottom that are barely off the ground.
When pushing against a wedge and with a slight left to right motion, eventually they will get under...when that happened, I pushed him all over the place...plus the wheels/tires are Colsons and pretty wide for a beetle.
I slammed him into the wall big time..also remember that Sting has a very decent gear ratio between the gbox and pulley setup and....motors that spin 4 times the speed of the oem bb motor and with a lot of torque.
Sting beat Wallop easily last gcrs...then I forfeited and he won the event...lol...
