Precision Machining & Automated Manufacturing Department
When: Saturday, March 13, 2010
Teams: 8AM til 6PM.
Spectators: 9am til 6pm
Registration Deadline is March 5, 2010
Where: The Main Cafeteria Assabet Valley Technical High School - 215 Fitchburg Street
Marlborough, MA
Who: Any middle school, high school or college engineering team willing to field a competitive 15lb
combat robot and compete under the National Robotics League tournament rules and regulations.

Our combat event ROCKS! Plain and simple. From the starting buzzer to the last robot standing, the
excitement doesn’t stop. Teams from Florida to Massachusetts join us! - to compete, learn, and
Demolish! And the upcoming Rally will be no exception. This event will help you to fine tune your
‘bot’ in prep for a national competition to be held in June 2010 at Skills USA.
If your school program, or qualified youth organization, is willing and able to field a 15lb combat
robot, or if you want to learn how your school can be part of the excitement, then c’mon down to
Rally in the Valley.
The registration fee is $100 for the first robot ($50 for the 2nd) if paid before 03-05-
10…Remember, we need to know who will be there ASAP….so…..registration costs jump
to $250 per robot after that date.
Space is limited to the first 25 registered robots (limit 2 robots per school). So register
today by sending your check, payable to Assabet Valley Precision Machining - NRL and mail with
