| I'm working on designing a vertical disc spinner... I have no idea how it'll take me to get this done. I need to spread my purchases out cause i'm now a college student with no income. I bought a 2" x 4' stick of half-inch lexan, and two ball bearings for this which came in today, so I AM serious about completing it. I'm hoping to have it done by the next GCRS at Robot Marketplace, which will hopefully take place at some point while I am home from CMU on winter break.   In the meantime, my dad tried to build a bot in two days in preparation for the last one (this morning) and didn't quite finish...  So he should have at least one new bot ready for the next one.... | |

| I may have to shrink it a little bit to make weight, but I'm planning on 4.5 in (i think). It's over 4. It's freaking massive. And songle is my special word. I should name it songlebot. lol. hahaha it's actually registered for Motorama as Shred... I guess technically I could change the name of this thread, but yknow.... i'm too lazy  | |

| I made the first parts for this bot today. It's gonna turn out slightly differently than the render... I changed some stuff. The disc is now coupled to the outrunner directly (I made the interface today) and the disc itself is going to be a little different. In addition, I think I'm going to try for four-wheel drive, I just hope I have weight for it! | |
