| How's this for good fortune......
No school today....
No school tomorrow.....
No school on Wednesday because another 8-14 inches is going to drop.....
Probably no school on Thursday because the snow is not supposed to stop until late Wednesday night....
TSA Competition on Friday so now school or work being done.....
Saturday and Sunday are our only chances to even lay a hand on the bots.......
WOW... I know we are way behind the ball I just wonder how this is effecting the other 40 teams up here in snowland....
VERY FRUSTRATED RIGHT NOW!!!!!!
I should of brought them home with me instead of just the electronics...

| You guys need to get your acts together ....like the well organized teams down here....ahem....cough...spit.... The key is to build your bots in a nice warm friendly environment...and then make the trek up to snow country for the competition....baaaaaaaaaaaaa waaaaaaaaaahhh.... Boy do we have our act together...... I feel bad for you guys at the moment....I guess I'm kinda lucky in that respect....just walk out the front door, toss the bot on the ground and drive it around.....(and in shorts!!) Sorry guys...all you can do is what you can do, I guess | |

| You asking me? If so...hell ya...I used to race snowmobiles...in college, everytime there was a BIG snowstorm, we'd hop into my landcruiser and head for the ski hills...we would get snowed in there..and with no lines at the lifts...lol Black ice is my friend...Paul rented the car, but if he looks out of control, I'll take over...I've been to skid school on a few occasions, so maybe I can scare the heck out of him.... Drifting in a renter..... Cody...after all the crap you've givin me, if you don't show up, Paul will have to b slap you | |

| TSA event al CAL U is cancelled for Friday....
They are not in class all week so might this have a problem with our regionals next week??? I doubt it...
Still under a state of emergency up here and they are using the high schools as shelters so we probably wont be in school till next week...
No deliveries all week cause of the snow and state of emergency...
Which means No batteries, Drive gears or belts, No BaneBot wheels hubs and motors, No Whyachi Switches..
At least we have old stuff to weigh with and fit, all except for the new Banebot Drive motors..
But that dosent even matter...
We cant even work on the ShamWOW! things till Monday!!!!!!!!!
We will be there but the bots might stay home,, all except 1 or 2....
Update: (as if we actually worked on them or something)
FBS - definately not gonna make it...
Doomsday rebuild??????? - Need time to finish it... But it is under weight and all the parts are there... Need to mount and machine holders and switches in the new frames.
Flatline Look Alike Wedge- Definately not gonna make it..
Alex, Are you guys going to the Ohio NTMA Event?
Also,
Anyone on here ever go to the Meadville NTMA Event?
We might send some of these less charming robots to some other events just to get fights in..
BTW - RJ - Motorama is and will always be the Nationals in my mind..... They have the best bots and builders so consider it Nationals and do all the bragging you want afterwards cause they have the best of the best all the way up and down the weight classes....
Look at bot rank and you will see what I mean..
FRISCO OUT... (or should I say IN (the house)
I thought I would never say this but:
Lets Pray for school to be back in!

| Rick...you're better man than me....
I'm side tracked for a few days getting my sc'd Miata ready....a guy is flying in to buy it on Friday
I'm getting worried that we won't be able to fly in next week
Plus, we have no batteries...they all have to be ground shipped or purchased and drop shipped...and with the weather up there...will anything be moving?
So Cody...are you going?

| Harrisburg is worse than us...
Gov. Rendell closed 3 major highways there today...
I think it's a no win situation...
We are officially closed till Monday along with many other schools out here...
I thought it was funny that I have been trying to order the belts and Pulleys from SDP/SI and for 3 days now they are out of the office due to weather...
If anything, we might be running 4WD I mean 2WD with 4 wheels...
But wait.... No weapons either...
and that is if we even make weight and the rest of the parts come in..
Like I said it's a no win situation...
We will definately be there though maybe not fighting...
What is funny is that the only bot actually at weight, done and driveable is my sons robot...
HE will cry a river if we go and he cant battle...
Oh well I guess all that late night working has equaled extra time with the family here at home...
At least it paid off!!!!!!!

| 2-14-10 Been seriously sidetracked..... Sold my 400 rwhp Miata to a guy in Tn....the car ran fine until Thursday night..when it developed a case of 'I don't wanna run anymore' With the buyeer flyingin (1 way ticket) I had to pull an all nighter and finally the car left today!!! So..I don't even remember where I was with the vapors or 3 lbers???? I am going to have to guesstimate batttery size and have them drop shipped to PA AND the next 4 or 5 days are going to be hell on wheels Wish us luck...we may be going to PA botless!!!!! | |

It might be tight, but I hope things work out!!! Rick...I may need to hand you a box of lipos and ask you to ship them back to me!!!! we're flying out of Baltimore Sunday evening....unless we're snowed in... Darn lipos and airplanes....

| Rj, No problem on shipping them back.. I just hope you get to use them..
We are finally back in school tomorrow and of course I get the phone call for a 2 hour delay.. There goes another 20 minutes of class time...
My COT is cleaned up and ready to make the trek to WMAHS tomorrow with me....
I am going to ask permission which I know will not be allowed but I'll throw up the COT anyway just to make a point to the students...
I am looking at leaving the house at 6:00 at school at 7:00 Teaching all day having 30 minutes of class time all week to get anything done... Staying after school from 3:00 till 12:00 Getting back home at 1:00 and hopefully going straight to sleep...
We'll see how this works out..
Disruptions so far are: A Football Head coaching interview after school on Tuesday... Driving the S7 to a company after the interview on Tuesday... Driving to a company after school on Wednesday to get the Colson wheels..
I cant wait to see what else throws my schedule out of whack...
