Pretty much just chips of plastic flying everywhere. He slows it down at the very end and removes the blade.

Unless you slow it down, the small high rpm drums aren;t going to bite like you're used to. and that bot was not a strong horizontal, but the small drums do seem to get the better of the hits even against much stronger horizontals.

Our kids figured things out a bit later in the event and slowed the drums down to get better bite.

Not a great fight, but this one shows what can happen when they slow the drum down.

the ending is kind of funny...that's 3/8" Ti flying off that bot.

If it were me, I wouldn't skimp on the durability/reliability aspect....make it a tank and as close to indestructible as possible..then figure out how much your drum or whatever can weigh (that's if you go for a small high rpm drum)

We went with the motors/gboxes NOT inline with each other. It requires more belts and pullies, slightly offset wheels (possibly), but it allowed us to drastically reduce the width of the bot. Less width = less weight, shorter length drum, etc....

You'll figure it out, I'm sure.

I'm out of here...see ya

You must be slipping

You've always been the go to guy when anyone needed a quick pic, video or info on ANY bot

Push away from the monster trucks and help Alex
