Hey does anyone from a school have any student/education licenses available for solidworks? I really want it and the $100 price tag isn't too bad I just figured I'd ask here first.

my first year we had to buy solidworks manuals for EDSGN class that came with solidworks student and i wanna say it was only like $40

it might be a little effort but im pretty sure you could get a free copy with an email saying your a student who competes in botsiq and would like to try there product

well i looked at the sponsor forum and was filling it out and currently i don't have a faculty advisor or department associated with the team. an email might be a better idea?

cody, i got that solidworks application link from deb holmes from the nrl, she said solidworks actually sponsors the nrl, but they just kept botsiqs name there. That IS the link that the NRL give kid for solidworks

yeah, you can get a free copy if you tell them you're involved in robotics like botsiq or nrl.

Till you get offered a job as a nuclear naval propulsion engineer for the navy and the FBI does a background check on you lol just trust me on that one
