has anyone seen a good weapon motor around 1700kv to about 2000kv i found a couple of motors but im trying to find better ones

oh yah i should have mentioned that its either going to be a 15lb or a 12lb it really comes down to the weight of the weapon
and like around an 85 mm diameter

we use mamba amonster 2000kv or is it 2200 kv with the esc....totally overkill

Yah I was looking a 2200kv one but frisco suggested the 1700kv because of the tork but if the over kill makes that amazing hiking sound Yours makes it's totally worth it

the sound comes from the tooth shape and rpm's...if you go over maybe 20k or so, you get a wind sound that sets in....toothe shape can change that tho....some make sound at much lower r's.

Dont go for show, go for reliability first. depending on how many cells you are going to run and the puley ratio, you could use a 1700, 2200 or the 2650kv, which weighs less as well

what does the drum weigh?

Uhh no idea what the weight is we are still designing it but i think it's going to be made out of s7 like the whole thing not just the teeth so it going to be pretty heavy

And I think we are running a 5 or 6 cell battery

Oh and I was just joking about the humming sound
