 Drum Bots/ Vertical Beaters

Im designing a vertical beater, but am unsure what to do to make sure it won't fall over. usually one would just put wheels big enough to touch the ground on either side, but my weapon is too big for either to touch the ground.

Use bigger wheels? I dont understand the question.... upload a picture or a sketch or something of what you are talking about

I think I know what you could just extend the weapon shaft supports back diagonally so when it flips upside down one wheel still has contact with the ground and the other contact point with the ground is the weapon support. Like in this version of fluffy (yes, it's a drum not a beater but same idea):
