Concept for our budget 15 to compete as half a 30 at Robogames and at BB IQ Next Year.


Alot still needs to be fleshed out, but we're going with a welded single tooth dual disk/drum on 1in Al shaft and HF drills for drive.

Rough Overview and Components:


Weapon System:
-1/4" AR400 wedge
-2.8 lb drum with a single tooth, 3.25" OD, disk on each end
-1" 7075 Shaft with 1/2" bolts
-5/8" 6061 Weapon Support Rails
-Weapon Motor:1800 Kv Turnigy
-Polycarbonate rings epoxied over can to form pulleys
-ESC: DYS 70A
-~10K Theoretical

Drive System:
-Banebots RS-550 Motors
-BB 12-45 ESC
-Harbor Freight Gearboxes
-BB 2 7/8" Wheels
-Rear structure&Armor: 1/2" UHMW
-~7 fps

Battery: 4S A123
Top and Bottom Plates: 1/8" Al (Alloy not known)
