| just a thought but I saw a company in my town that offers metal turning and not like a lathe. They make domes and bowls and all sorts of odd tapers out of single sheets by spinning it and compressing it with a roller against a mold if titanium is pliable enough to hold a tight radius it could be interesting to see a turned taper shell thats one piece with no weld and it would be super balanced because its turned and not stationary when formed... or it would just turn back into a sheet overnight lol | |
