Who liked the stuff BB used to sell and would love to see someone else (like RMP) sell them?

That might work too.

It would be good to still have to option to buy them retail. Most people don't need 30 gearboxes.

I wasn't thinking about prices all i was thinking about were sizes. There isn't much for sale in the 32mm range. The problem w/ the P60s is that they are too heavy for anything below hobbyweight. The 32 mm BBs were light enough to use 2 in a beetle.
There must be a way to get them cheaper than that because BB was selling them for around thirty dollars w/ motor.

Not much to add to what's been said--the P60's really are superior (except not really designed to mount from 'front'), but there aren't a lot of good small gearmotor options.

Of course, all the 24mm gearboxes we had/have are pretty much ruined because we tried (oh how we tried) to use them in 15lb bots, and they really weren't that good.

We're still working on getting the p60 down to about half it's regular weight. . . .I'm optimistic it can be lots lighter, but not sure we can get to 4 ounces and still be strong enough for a 15lber.

A 4 ounce P60 would be nice.

And i meant 28mm w/ 380 motor not 32mm.
