Depends on what you are trying to protect, where it's being mounted on the bot, and what weight class the bot is in. Personally I have no idea beyond that, maybe just heat it up to 650-ish degrees and dunk it in water?

I take most of my stuff to 45hrc, but at that point it's more personal preference. Seems to be a nice balance between not bending easily and not snapping too quickly.

1450-1500, quench, bake at 500 for an hour, and your cookies are done

Is this AL? I thought it melted at about 800 deg. F?
