back to the problem with my teams robot, would forcing more amps into the battery while charging cause our batteries to work better. i think right now we were charging them with 3.0 amps and we can go up to 4 to 5 amps i believe (not completely sure new charger this year, i charger and 1000 watt power supply)

That won't do much, only charge them faster.
