does anybody know a way that i can setup our transmitter to have two stick tank steering and a 2 speed variant for our weapon in the same bundle. As of now we are using two stick tank steering and the gear switch to start the weapon. I thought i could use a dual rate but then i realized that that only applies the switches to the sticks (at least as far as my research shows) we are running a dx6i, if any other information is needed about our setup feel free to ask

Dual rate applies to any channel you select it for, my planes have dual rate on all control surfaces. to use two speeds on a brushless system seems incredibly hard on the esc. i dont have my dx6i in front of me but i believe you could use the gear switch as a two speed switch if you mixed in rudder or aileron as a start up for the esc either with trim or as stick movement. it would seem difficult and more complex than running a dx3e with its programmable 3 position switch as your weapon but i also prefer pistol grip to two stick over most applications.

edit, i think if you use a y harness you can achieve two position control by connecting the gear switch to the rudder or aileron similar to how large gliders use mechanical brakes to lock folding props with a servo mixed into the gear switch and rudder or aileron, its a ghetto old school method but i have seen work somehow Rolling Eyes
