So today was pretty good. I just got back in from hanging out with friends so I don't have time to put all my thoughts because I need sleep, but it was a good day. Our robots kind of beat themselves, but we're ready for what tomorrow holds.
One thing that has disappointed me this year... How many robots are Dead On Arrival. Some robots actually worked at Prelims, but didn't work today?! A lot of robots didn't work for either, that kind of let me down. Both of Clairton's teams won 4 matches all together, but also had a total of like 7 byes, that shouldn't have happened.
Still 'N' Shock 2 won the winner's bracket today.
If anyone needs help tomorrow I'm the kid with the Mario hat on and long hair, can't miss me.

Hempfield went 2-1 and in my eyes that wasn't to bad considering we had to rebind after every bout or else our robot went completely spastic with a mind of its own (almost completely went through the test arena wall (we had no control) , the rather large gouge in the side of the small testing box is from us... whoops..)

Great day. It was sad that we didn't get our robots running solid until the end of the day.
This was hands down my favorite part of the day:

well, today was a miracle for hempfield started out the mornin with no drive and all drive speed controllers were dead, after a nightmare of work all morning the robot decided to start working 5 minutes before our first bout after lunch, somebody must have been watchin cause there was a part of me in the back of my mind that started to think we were done before we even started. on behalf of myself and my team we would like to express our deepest gratitude to every single person who helped us, especially: Ewctc Plum Derry Clariton Springdale (thankyou for the postponement) I apologize if i forgot a team, thanks again for making the nearly impossible possible

It pained me that our weapon was vastly underrated. Coolest bot though! (3-way-tie) It had a mix of launching power and destruction, but towards the end of the day I stopped using full power because we couldn't afford to bend another weapon axle. I was so vastly fulfilled after we smoked the Mamba Badger, that the day was complete.

I was wondering the same thing, I do know that we got one, so I would assume everyone else got one.

Kidding! It's nice to see so many girls involved now, it makes the "sport" seem a little less obtrusive and nerdy haha
