Technically however, as Mr. Bales explained to us, those batteries aren't Li-polys, as a matter of fact, to get an actually Lithium-Polymer battery is very rare. I forget exactly what he said they really are, but I'm sure Will Bales can tell you.

I think Alex may be the one person on here that knows more about bots the Will on here
He determined they were lipos from a picture on Facebook
If he recognized them from a picture as lipos then they are def lipos

No, you don't understand. Actual Lithium-Polymer batteries, as in a battery made with lithium and a polymer or polymers, don't exist. that is taken from the words of Thomas Bales, Will's father, the genius guy.

I emailed her earlier too, about a personal issue, not BotsIQ and I got a response too, so I'm pretty sure the email address works

that's my point. According to Thomas Bales, that rule is for batteries that don't exist.

Im not sure wether they are actually lithium polymer or not
It doesnt matter wether they are or not made up of but they are categoried under a Lipo title
They are still very dangerous
Under your statement you can use any battery

But it may not be a Lipo make up, but thats what its titled as
And the title is specifically outlined in the BotsIQ ruleset
I really isnt my problem wether you use them or not
Its wrong of BotsIQ to let you use them if they do
Again a reason in which were not going this year

According to the rules, you can't use lithium polymers, correct? If I'm right, Lithium Polymer batteries don't exist, batteries under the title Li-Po exist, correct? Therefore, you can use Li-Pos, which aren't actually Lithium Polymer batteries, and then call BBIQ on the rules, and the rules will be fixed for the next year.
Yes they are still dangerous, but they're really only gonna be dangerous when in the arena, which makes them safe.

It's not a crime if there's no rule against it yet, on the other hand, BBIQ does reserve the right to say, even though you found a loop hole in our rules, we're still not gonna let you compete cuz we don't think your robot is safe.
