Speed controllers
I have had 0 luck with any of them
Got botbitz that were similar to Banebots, turns out they are from a bad batch and all short after a few minutes, they go to full throttle with out a fail safe
Tried switching to an old scorpion and it has problems too

Gonna try another scorpion and go from there

Maybe try the Rock crawlers? They're a bit chunky, and appear to start
out very slow, but you can reprogram them to increase your speed and the
like. They're what we switched to after our banebots burned out last
year... I definitely preferred the banebots, but the rock crawlers did
what we needed them to.

This thing can reprogram them::

The Vanguard's are made for LiPo, But I'm relatively sure you could get them to work well with Liion as well.

I feel like if you want something guaranteed to work go with the Torquemasters.
They are incredible in what they can handle and are like the only speed controller we haven't fried.

I thought he took the torquemasters out and used BotBitz.
I don't know what was all used this year, but they held up last year where as the banebots borderline caught on fire every match.

I went down to 4 cells to use the botsbitz reliably too :-/
I dont think I have room for the torquemasters, I was looking at their uncased versions but couldnt find dimensions

I used the botbitz 85 amp speed controllers with great success, the one pair dropped the ball at the end of finals but im not quite sure what happened to them considering they never burned up, they just stopped working scratch but other then that they got me through prelims, most of finals and nationals while preforming to all expectation. They are slightly heavier then torqmasters but other then the one problem seem more reliable and A LOT faster. Also their shape seems to make them fit better in most places. I'd recomend.
