NRL Season 2013

In talking to Rob Akers who Seems to be the head of the NRL and Mr Marshall, the adviser from bloomsburg
They are really trying to make it so you have to compete in a sanctioned regional event
They are also trying to make sanctioned events open to anyone(only seems to be a problem in the SWPA completion) whether a high school, college, local or from the other side of the state
Basically they can run a sanctioned event open to the public, or part ways with the NRL and do their own thing

Being in one of the programs not allowed to compete at SWPA, we were told we could compete in Meadville

i feel like motorama should count as one of the events

they would certainly get more than 4 schools

Also, Teams ARE NOT required to participate in a regional competition to be elegible to compete at nationals.

Hay, I'm new as a captain this year and I was wondering when registration for nationals opens. Could anyone tell me.

So how is the NRL handling Multibots this year? can both bots point and score or just the master?

According to my read of the rules, both bots should be able to score points. We are updating the rules now, and I don't see any suggested changes to the multi-bot rules.

Was there confusion about this in the past?

We had never seen any one try this, and we were just a bit fuzzy on the rules

I had a great time overall. I didnt see much of the competition but I think the caliber of bots was higher this year compared to last. My bot went 4-2 which I'm actually really happy with.

I didn't realize it till earlier this morning but after 7 years in BotsIQ/NRL this was probably the last educational combat robot competition I'll compete in. It's crazy to look at how the bots have progressed and even how the program has evolved and what it's has done for me.

It was a pretty nifty competition.
Videos are finally mostly up on youtube for once.
Glad others recorded and covered it as the livestream ended up being kind of lackluster, though appreciated.
