PostSubject: Choosing an ESC for a 15 pound robot.   Mon Sep 23, 2013 1:18 pm

We are using two, RS775 Motors - 12V from banebots. the motors have a stall current of 30 amps and run from 6 to 18 volts.  Each motor then goes to a 16:1 ratio gearbox.  can anybody recommend where to buy individual ECS for each motor?

Either of these might work too-

I've used the XL to run a 30 with dewalts on a 6s lipo and the Mini looks decent.

If you have the space/weight, the RageBridge is fantastic-

It's what I'm using in the same 30 now.

We've had great success with these brushed ESC's

You can find them on ebay or other related sites for even cheaper, very reliable and can run off a 4s battery
