i don't have a name for it yet... i was thinking some play on words with the word drum... like
innuendrum drumination indruminitable conundrum tornadrum the ugly drumling lol
idk Conundrum is the best so far. The best part about it is that it is a pun. And although I am sure you already know this: http://dictionary.reference.com/browse/conundrum co⋅nun⋅drum [kuh-nuhn-druhm] 1. a riddle, the answer to which involves a pun or play on words 2. anything that puzzles. It is perfect. I have spoken and this bot shall forever more be known as Conundrum.

That isn't bad but Conundrum is subtle enough that not EVERYONE will get it. But those who do will smile. Because it is the ultimate name. Dan won't be able to resist such a perfect name.

| Humdrum
Also a good play on the word drum for several reasons 1. Involves the word drum 2. The drum will almost certain hum when spinning at full speed 3. The drum will not be dull or commonplace when it is spinning at full speed, infact it will be quite the opposite.

I'm fairly certain that somebody did one with that name before though. so it's not original, and no, I'm not confusing it with Humdinger.

| You could make 4 of them and call them Quadrumvir I-IV and call the group of robots the Quadrumvirate.
But that would likely be expensive and time consuming so I don't think that is the best idea.

in case you didn't know: defenestration de·fen·es·tra·tion 1 : a throwing of a person or thing out of a window wow, you butcher a word to make it suit your pun. Not subtle at all... My words are literally the exact same yet they have twisted meanings within the context of the drum bot. In case you haven't picked up on it, I have an extremely British sense of humor. I am all about subtle jokes and light puns. Beating someone over their head with a joke only weakens the humor. It is best to let it sink it slowly and eat away at them for months as they think about all the nuances of a well formed pun. I have never been to England though...

| well 4" steel pipe has an ID of 4.03" and an OD of 4.5" then I put .625" square teeth on it (I will profile them though) so overall effective OD is 5.75" the wheels don't weigh two pounds lol. They weigh .28 lbs (plastic wheel, rubber tire, steel shaft, aluminum timing belt pulley...) so maybe two pounds plus the motors lol
the frame is definitely heavy... i'll keep playing with it. I think a lot of my bolts are wayyy too big.

| yeahhh it's mostly 10-32s with a few 1/4-20s and a few 8-32s...
just like on copperhead, we used 4 3/8" bolts and 2 5/16" bolts on each side to keep the drum on.... overkill lol

That is probably where Will got the impression of 2 lbs(I said on Facebook, mockingly(or intended to be mocking) that the wheels must weigh 2 lbs... Was more a joke about their size than an actual estimate.) But it makes your weight problem even worse... How are you going to get it down to 15 lbs?
