I am unsure about the compatability, but there are some 24VDC 40mm PC Case fans out there.
Maybe look into some of them.

May or may not work.
15.79 CFM, which is good airflow(Only thing I saw on ifi was a note about 5 CFM. They don't mention the fan voltage so that may be their 12V fan).
Don't ask me how good it is though because I have never used it...
Also, don't ask me how something like that would be installed... That is something for you to figure out if you are looking into doing something like that...
But that could potentially be one direction to look. 40mm PC Cooling Fans are fairly common. 24V fans aren't as common but you can find them.
