| ya see those little pieces on steel at the corner of the left wedge in the first pic, those are the teeth, i just need to get my mill first so i can make the slots and they will stick out 1/4", plus they will stick out 1/8" on each side of the disc | |

| on another note i've been redesigning fangus and am torn between two designs i like the one design better, but at the same time i really want to try the other one. I'm looking forward to imput so feel free to post something and let me know what one YOU like better and i'm increasing the drum/beater size to 2 1/2" instead of the old 2"

| I like the one with wedge capability.....as long as it doesn't get hung up on the floor too badly....similar to my 3 lbs Sting and MLEC's 15 lbs TTATT
You drive it at angles to promote getting under other bots, even wedges and if you can lift them at all, it's 'bounce them off the roof time'...if you can create the joules....
If you watch enough wedge vs wedge fights, factors such as the floor, gyro, and whatever = a mix bag of trading who gets under the other, even against good wedge designs.
jmo and I don't know much | |

| I like the wedge design, just make sure that the corner isn't just floating out there like it is now. chances are, somebody's gonna grab that and bend it. make sure that your top/bottom plates attach to that somehow. | |

| ya im going to have a solied piece of poly there, these arn't 100% accurate there just to get the point across. i want to try the wedge design, but at the same time for some reason i like the other design a little better so idk maby ill build bolth | |

| I like the wedge design just cause it IS a wedge. They both look good though. | |

| ya pretty simple mod really, thats the old fangus motor that got the crap beat out of it, the 3mm shaft got bent and the mount bracket got crushed in a little witch you can see in the pic. all i really did was pop the motor can on my lathe and take off the gold neck part so all that was left was the silver magnet ring witch i press-fitted into the weapon hub, then i knocked the bearings out of the stator witch i am replacing with larger ones, and to top it off im going to run a 3/16" ti shaft through the whole assemble making it a one piece weapon | |

| I like the way your doing it compared to how people usually press fit them into the drum. It would be pretty cool on your next version of ripto too | |
