I'll most likely be there as well - I think my parents might come up to visit me at school, then we'd all drive over.

Outside of 2 3 pounders, I will be bringing a 12 pounder, possibly named 'The Spin Stops Here'.
This will be 12 pound version of TTATT with good pushing power and powered wedge.

Aren't you? or is it me...who knows....whoever gets to the transmitter first?
Not much driving needed...just point the wedge at the opponent, keep it down and keep doing that until the opponent isn't moving anymore or is on fire, slowly move to a neutral corner and deploy the umbrella.
darn...just gave away our strategy
If against a non-spinning weapon...(kind of rare...lol) do the ground and pound.....if their Ti is thicker than ours then...they probably didn't make weight...
ttatt is sporting .228" Ti EVERYWHERE, plus a million 10-32's holding it together

Not when you have 900 of them and everything is keyed...lol
The front end (wedge) is held in with 1/4" hardware or better.....
On the other hand, I'm currently using 1/4" dowel pins and screws in Sting's drum....hahaha

Drive, take the bus or train....no difference to me.... just kidding
I'm waiting on the local Florida chapter to either step up or bow out, before deciding who drives what....I may not even drive anything if I can avoid it and can trust others to do a decent job.
Can you drive , is the question?

At this point we may be bringing up local talent, still waiting on an answer. if that is the case, then 2 of 3 bots will probably be driven by Floridians...the 3rd bot is still up in the air, but you're on the short list.
Thanks

lol its not a big deal haha just throwing it out there Motorama should be a really good time with everyone there
I think everyone should bring 15lb bots just to show, maybe if they see that how ever many show up they'll throw in a 15lb class

I certainly hope that we get to meet as many people as we can during our trip.
I hope we don't end up with massive bot repairs between matches....Watching paint dry or better yet, networking with people, especially those on this forum sounds like a good time.
We could bring 2 to 4 15's, if they survive an event that will be happening around feb 4th down here.
If other 15 teams will bring theirs, we may as well...show and tell time...

I think that everyone should spread the word to bring their 15's to Moto....
They do a lot of things in the down time and some matches with two 15's would be right up their alley.....
Soundds like a great plan to me....
My guess is we might have 1 or 2 that cant loose the weight by Moto and end up not competing.....
We had 1 last year the had to shed 1/2 pound up there on Friday.
They got it down to weight by Saturday Morning but it was junk by that point..... Haste makes waste...
Definately bring some extra 15's with you....
The only reason we compete is to get a good test in before our Regionals... Why not have a few to test against..
Al and the gang are there to make the sport grow and put on a good show...
They will definately go for it..

If you could find out for sure, because we have a small problem.
We can bring some 15's but we have to ground ship the batteries separately, so very soon after our Feb 4 event, we would have to ship the batteries to someone, somewhere...they might still be warm when we pack them up...lol
But if it would help your efforts up there to have a 15 class as part of Moto, then we'll do our best..please let me know.
Anything we can do to grow the sport is worth persuing.
Thanks
