| Hey, so LOLcano is all wired up but one of the drive ESC's ready green LED continously blinks and wont move when the stick on the controller is moved, according to the manual this means that the esc wont activate until the stick is in neutral. And that if it doesnt activateto play around with the trim on the spektrum. I will be trying this tommorow but incase this doesnt work, does anyone have any suggestions or solutions? | |

| Is it a new ESC?
I ask cuz we have had troubles with breaking the signal wires off right at the point where they solder into the ESC circuitboard (especially when jamming them into tight spaces). The connection looks OK, but wiggling it around sometimes makes it work (tho you wouldn't want to leave it that way of course), and other times resoldering is necessary.
Two other (obvious) things to look for, but you may not have thought of just yet-- 1) Is the signal plug connected correctly to the receiver (my eyes aren't as good as they used to be, and I have had them 'one pin off' before), and into the right signal port (i.e. it's plugged into 'ger', when it should be in 'ele')
2)What happens if you switch the signal connections with a working ESC? In other words, is the problem with the receiver, not the ESC?
If the input voltage is too high (really, anything above 4s lipo) for the BB's? Sometimes they get all quirky if they have high input volts.
Lastly, are you running any other ESCs that have battery eliminator? If so, I recommend you cut or otherwise disconnect the red (central) wires on the BB-12-45's, and let a good BEC do that job (cuz BB ESCs have sucky BECs). | |
