| I'm working on a full body drum. I have everything I need to start except drive motors. It's an innovative design for the weapon system, but I'm not gonna say what it is until I build it and test it and find out if it works!
-AR6110 -ElectriFly Ammo 20-40 2030KV brushless inrunner -Turnigy 25A speed controller -Sabertooth 5 dual speed controller -Thunder Power G4 45C 325mAh 3S battery -Banebots green wheels 2.875"
hopefully I can get a hold of some B16s for drive (http://www.robotmarketplace.com/products/0-B16.html). The B04's at 1500 RPM may be a little too fast with a 2.875" wheel...
I WANT TO BUILD IT IN A WEEK AND HAVE IT DONE BY SATURDAY.
heh. not gonna happen. | |

| my FBD(beater) current design is gonna use belts, and friction drive to the inside of the drum is the other option that comes to mind(the conventional methods?)
so im just gonna guess that u have something in the vicinity of a somehow direct driven drum or friction drive applied to the side supports of the drum?

| who me? ya i have a design in mind that ive been casually updating over the past year, right now its an ant that is designed like a ring spinner, four full length stand-offs with bearings and a friction drive outrunner | |

| Well, it's sort of friction drive, but not! haha I just have to see if it works now. The stuff I've ordered for it is getting here this week. | |
