1/32" clearance only works when you tighten all your machine screws
if you watch closely the beater smashes into the its own frame breaking both front frame member at the bolt pattern

BotsIQ PA implemented a new Grand Champion award this year that includes a point system the gives you points for wins, takes away points for forfeits and awards you points on for your documentation, winnning the rumble etc..Along with these rules they've bracketed teams together by there experience levels. Yesterday the 1st,2nd,3rd year teams along with CTC schools fought yesterday with the more experienced 3rd,4th and 5th year teams are fighting today http://botsiqpa.org/main.asp?page={9AD90BBC-D892-4911-823D-283B118407C7} Top 4 bots from each bracket go on to fight in the finals April 15th &16th This basically sums up the "freshmen" bracket
I was just told that Plum had the last two bots in the winners bracket "experienced" teams with at least one win over west mifflin

Thats what we deal with here haha I'm suprised they actually managed it themselves honestly. Alot of times other teams bots don't get fixed (unless alex fixes them) ever since they started the rule where advisers arent allowed to touch the bots in the pits (I really like this rule although I still feel like it was instituted as one of many of the rules instituted through the past 5 years to try to keep Plum from winning haha)

i don't think the advisers should touch the robots either. its not our bot its the kids if they cant fix something in time without our hands they don't compete simple as that.

No I think its a great rule. I wish all IQ/NRL competitions would adopt it
