Hi everyone...haven't posted in a while!!

News from Miami....a small event in Miami at Booker T Washington High...put on by the Starbots people...last Miami event of the school year!!
Outside of some Vex bots, there will be some 3's and 15's (combat robots)
I haven't fired up Sting since Franklin 2 years ago, but I checked it out and everything seems to work!!! (Drum still spins 30k+ rpm)
Also, may try to get my 3 pound melty (Spinning Tortoise) running as well (broken motor and missing pulley???)
I am thinking of letting some kids (possibly spectators) have a go and trying to drive them...should be fun

And that's all for now!!!
Hope that all is well with everyone

Good to see you and the bots back. It's been far too long.

I'm not really just yet.....working on some things so we'll see where it goes, but it is nice to see that little Sting still runs
Rumor has it that a 15 lbs melty may show up!!!

The event at Booker T went very well. There were about a dozen 15's and another dozen 3's!
Some very good fights, in both classes. Some highlights included Sting WMD vs Frankenstein (a wedge), where WMD stripped the wedge and then the entire body off Frank, leaving only a chassie with motors and wheels behind!!!
In another match , StingEm's 5 cel 45 or 60 Lipo battery went up in smoke, quick, fast and in a hurry. The incident was handled quickly and flawlessly by the bot wranglers. Sorry, no Fluffy type fire.
Ransom Everglades brought a nice looking 15 pound Melty, but it was still in the debug stages. It did spin up a few times, but not for long enough to cause any real damage.
Perhaps Robert Dubard will throw up a picture or two in the near future
Expect a slew of 3's by next year. I'm hoping for 40 to 80 3 pounders in Miami next year, if all goes well!!
Let's revive this sport, before it dies!!!
Well, that's all folks
