| yup, but theres always a chance that they will mix the college class with high school 15's because theres not enough like two years ago. Four bots for a national competition is lame i think, and especially for the costs. | |

Actually, what you should really be worrying about is how close to the tallest bits of your robot that blade can get - unless the whole thing is that tall now.

The whole robot is 2 and 1/8 inches high if you include the wheels and the top. I took off the X-contamination plow and am now using an invertible plow made of a very secret material (i'll PM it to you). So there is nothing on top that is vital other than my wheels.

| so i was thinking about it whats the point of hinging or floating your plow why not just make it to the right height? Its not like the wedge where you need the angle. The pick on the garbage can cause it tried getting tough with blender mini a few days ago | |

| Haha, well I do hope they combine the classes or at least let a few teams grudge match us.
That trash can takes a lot a crap but is very well built. It must be German made.

| Looks like this year is the first year there will be spinners that don't self-destruct in one match at Nationals. Can't wait for the match videos. | |

| Andre, I will let you drive the robot tonight. All you have to do is go to sleep and dream of driving Tornado Mini. But if you pull a Micah (dumb ass driver from last year, for those of you who don't know) I will cause unimaginable damage to your self esteem and/or inflict irreversible bodily damage to your persons.
Sweet dreams.
Jeff, there's always a chance things will explode. I'd actually love to go up against a can of compressed air and see what will happen. THAT WOULD BE SOOOOO AWESOME!

| haha you should have seen our documentation last year... we did it in the hotel room the night before... i think we got 2 or 3 points out of 15? it was like the lowest score they had ever seen. and we won... but yeah I'm working on all my documentation now... | |

| My advice to RE Robotics about docs was to just reference their drawings as much as possible. All the details are in there anyways, so why should you have to do more than just write a summary with words? | |

| That's what I plan on doing, but since this year I actually read ALL the rules and not just the ones that intrested me -_-, I found the line that read "You will not pass inspection without full documentation." I thought this meant they were going to be hardcore on the docs this year but then everyone tells me that it's been like that for years. I guess I'll just do it on the plane ride there. I have spare parts to make anyway.

| Seriously its a joke at nationals compared to up here, they ridiculous about it up here and ours is always done the night before with masking tape tabs and everything. They actually do interviews up here and i was like the only one to ace it, even beating out alex (each robot has to be a seperate team, each team needed one person interviewed) They dont wanna hear about your bot, they wanna know what botsIQ has been like for you and whats its done lol | |

| Well I'd love to see them try and interview 3-5 members of my team this year. It's gonna be me, myself, and I. Me is annoying but I is decent at machining.
