| Well I guess I could just bring blender mini as it is right now but it would continue to go into *dramatic voice* SPINNING TOP OF DEATH MODE!!!!!! In other words it flips over too easily because of it's high center of gravity. before September is not enough time to completely redesign without serious time commitments. I also have a currently top secret robot that may be taking up a lot of my time this summer.
The other challenge is airfare and hotel. I'm broke and I really don't feel like sneaking into the schools gold bar vault right now.

| We will see what happens as far as Pine View's team goes...
I have some ideas, for both 120 and 15 lb bots. Julien and Brian have are focused on making a 120 lb ring spinner.
I have some redesigning to do with Copperhead to try and increase defense and increase the resiliency of just about everything on it.
BTW, RE team, does your CNC do well with Titanium? Because I want to get some thicker Titanium and do a hole pattern in it to keep weight within a reasonable range. Maybe even do up "Copperhead IV" or "Copperhead 3.5"(depending on what the next bot merits in terms of total changes) in a fancy font on top just for show.
First thing will be finding areas besides the drum to take more weight out... And if all else fails, take some more out of the drum.
Who knows, I may even pursue a "Copperhead Mini" that could be used as a small scale training bot for me to drive around getting a feel for what it may feel like driving Copperhead(I am almost certainly going to be driving it).
Dan, if you can get me one of the copies of Solidworks next week, that would be great.

| It would be nice if we could coax some of the mid to northern florida insect bot people to come down and put on a show...
I'm not sure how many insect class bots are in the Miami area at the moment ???

| We are in the planning phase of putting together a group (4) of 15lbers for this. They will be CuddleBunny Fluffy Bearkin (formerly Timothy Higgens) and a triangular wedgebot that was entered in BotsIQ'08 under the name X-Fortification (sorry Sean Ru but Sean Gr is adopting it)
All with minor improvements, of course. No new bots by September, I'm afraid.
Will may be taking a 3lb wedge, if there is a 'field' for it--Sting perhaps? I think it would be a good idea for Nola to add smaller 'bots to the 'local' competitions.

| MLEC shold have 3 if not 4 readyto roll
2 rattlers (1 drum, 1 wedge) ttatt (drum) possibly a ttatt clone (powered wedge or beater)
Sting and Son of Thump should be available if 3 pounders are allowed to compete...
I will try to get Paul to talk to Nola, but I'm not sure wether non-edu bots would be allowed???
