| -brushless dc motors. google hobby city. -aluminum tube or pipe about 1/4" thick woks well as a drum material, with some kind of tool steel for the teeth. -No gearboxes, just pulleys & timing belts -3000 RPM is very slow for a 15 lber. 8000 to 10000 is more typical.
I suggest you poke around the threads where other people have discussed existing drum robots/ robots in progress for some more detailed info. | |
