the most intricate part are the middle plates, which have that crazy hole and arrow pattern in it. the other problem is, that after they do that, then we still have to mill out a whole bunch.. so now, we're contemplating the idea of china again, because it would be easier, and as i showed you on the Fluffy page, cheaper than 600 bucks for 1 set of unfinished parts! we could get one whole for an entire robot for 250-300, and they would be milled too!

and they'd be 7075!! instead of 6061

on Fluffy and Snuggles, the fronts are made of 1/8th inch Grade 5 Titanium and the teeth are S7 Tool Steel.

Just the front end caps are titanium or is the whole outer armor?

just the front, everything was going to be titanium, but weight and practicality was an issue because we wanted it 1/8th inch thick

ooo i see, thats were you got the weight for your weapon, SnS is grade 5 the whole way around, but i forget how thick, same with aftershock now, but were trying out this zirconium coating on it, so far its absolutely amazing
