So, like I said in the Prototrak announcement, I'm making a Beetle weight sized robot to try out the true capabilities of 3D milling. The chassis will be machined entirely out of one piece of 6061 Aluminum. I quickly drew it up while I was sick around parts that I mostly already had lying around, except for different controllers and an itsy bitsy 3 cell lipo. We'll see How it does.. I'll post pictures of the chassis in the next day or so.. I'm going to Simmons to buy the slab of metal tomorrow morning, Saturday, and Hopefully I can have it run through the night!

Sorry...I'm sure that it probably does...most newer controls do.

All it means is that it can look ahead in the program while it is running and develop a strategy, (so to speak) whereby it minimizes tool dwell.

For example, if you cut a square, the tool won't stop or even look like it's slowing down when it turns the corners.

I was just curious.

Some older or simpler controls will hesitate when changing directions drastically, others can look ahead only a certain number of moves and others can look ahead infinitely.
