| and remember the MACH 1 idea? a 2.75:1 gear ratio from the motors to the weapon would do 734 MPH!!! lol and since there are 2 motors, it would be easier to get it to achieve that speed!!! muahahahaha! | |

| If you get that thing to break the sound barrier... Well, I don't want to know what the robot it hits looks like afterwords. Unfortunately, something similar would happen to the weapon. Anyways, Mach .95 doesn't sound too shabby . | |

I don't think you want it to got that fast, Will. Won;t it just knick the other robot and not bea able to catch an edge because it is going so fast?

| It is pocketed!! We don't have them shown, but there will be little plates that screw on so that the outside is perfectly flat! and yes, mach .95 would be just as good. not as a demonic a sound, and the thing will tip over like hell when turning as it is! but we won't run it at that speed any time soon! only around 8000 rpm | |

| Well, I imagine the thing would slowly chip off bits of the other robot even if it didn't make a good contact. Technically, an abrasive/grinder style blade would be best for that kind of speed. But I'm betting Will plans to run it slower most of the time (or just keep increasing the speed until the damage it causes drops). | |

Ok. I'm sorry...but no way Kyle will be able to drive this. He couldn;t drive Woodynator last year...he thought the drum was spinning too fast and we wld just run into walls. Imagine him with this...it goes so much faster than the original Woodynator. If he wants to drive it...he really (and i mean REALLY) needs to practice driving.
