The TED Thread

I figured that for a forum about BattleBots and robotics, a thread about TED was necessary. For anybody who doesn't know what TED is, TED stands for Technology, Entertainment, Design. It started out (in 1984) as a conference bringing together people from those three worlds. Since then its scope has become ever broader. And it's now this ridiculously awesome conference, and I felt it was necessary to share a really awesome TED video, if you want to check out more, the website is:

Using a beautiful geometry lie group E-8, Lisi found a connection between this shape and a massive equation to explain all our know sub atomic particles that we know.
