Has anyone had experience with pressing a bearing into UHMW? I am not familiar enough with the material and figured someone here would know something about it.

I assume it would be just like any other material where you could press fit and/or superglue it in place, or at least that's what I plan on doing with the stuff.

if you can dead shaft for you design that would be the best option. if not the wider the material and the wider the bearing, the better. you will also want to put collars or something on both sides of the bearing that are larger then the hole to try and prevent the bearing from going anywhere at least without the entire shaft collar being pulled through the hole witch is unlikely.
