| In College/pro it was:
1st. Witch Doctor
2nd. BattleBear
3rd. Cat. 5
Here's me (Witch Doctor) vs Cat 5. We tried to be good sports but then we popped a drive chain in the last moments. A really fun match. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e1o9iAhaM9A

| Here's a vid of Sting WMD vs Animosity
https://www.youtube.com/user/jcoello43#p/u/5/j5ZfwLDupxc
WMD lived up to its name, in that it took quite a few bots apart. Also, this kid can drive!!!
WMD bowed out to Sting Em later in the event . It was truly a team effort, in that between the 3 high speed drums, some very nice bots pretty much got trashed along the way.

| Currently sitting in the Fort lauderdale airport waiting to go home after an amazing event. Everyone there was so kool. Got to meet RJW, kyle, dughi, will(both of them) marc, trey, greg, and whole bunch of other people. Everyone was very helpful in every possible way. My 15 wasn't allowed to use its beater because it did not failsafe correctly(I will fix that later) but it won 2 matches as a wedge. My 120 got a bye first round and a win second round. My first loss happened because i got stuck UNDER the floor of the arena and they need the crow bar to get it out. If any one has video's please tell me. Other stuff that happened, well ... you could always tell when team jag was fighting because you could hear it from across the site(Really cool richard!!!) FLuffy 2 was really impressive when it was working, team jag bent the teeth, and after will fixed them he took it to the 120 arena spun it up to full speed next thing you know the thing explodes into the air and a tooth comes flying out stripping the threads in the mounting holes. It was a reallly really good time. I am proud to say that i am coming home with a pristine 120(the thing was a brick) and pile of bent aluminum that was once lolcano | |

| Jeeves...it was absolutely wonderful to meet you and everyone else as well!!! I have to really thank Bob Dubard from RE.....he was an absolute gentleman and went totally out of his way to help keep us in the event. Bob...you're the best, brother!!! It was sportsmanship at its highest level ...and on literally everyone's part. The event might not have had quite enough representation from around the country, but it was still truly a world class event, very well run, safety seemed up to snuff and Nola, Bill, Alan and all of the organizers did a fabulous job. I also beleive that next year, BOT IQ will be held in Miami, so all of the noshows, NOW have plenty of advanced notice. On a side note, Will is once again up to something and will probably totally kick robutt next year...I saw it in his eyes.... | |

| Here's the debut of Sting WMD vs Fluffy 2.....
https://www.youtube.com/user/jcoello43#p/u/28/mvDVk0CQmos
Will's steel armor took a toll on Sting WMD's tooth, but later in the event, the rounded tooth still performed as expected.

Weapon? Sorry, no pics at the moment weapon was a Riobotz style true single tooth drum with a few twists. Drum weighes in at well over 3 lbs. and spinning at around 40k. The driver has definitely mastered the art of pedal to the metal....lol Expect truly amazing things form these kids...they also took 2nd place in documentation and the entire team are 9th graders.... One of the kids is absolutely amazing in Solidworks!!! If they stay with it, I expect Hummdinger 2 type resuilts from them in the future

you didn't happen to have any videos of the 120's? No need to thank me...i didn't do anything...MLEC's other advisor (our electrical engineer and former mlec student) took and uploaded all that video It has been MLEC's practice to get video footage of ALL matches in our division, for R & D purposes. I'm sure that your 120 will show up on the tube sooner or later.... did you make it home safely, or still on the road?

| ummm.....
the frame is shot i mean i could bend it back with the vice and a blow torch but it would just come out crappy but the electronics motor and wheels and weapon and pretty much everything else is fine so i am going to throw everything onto the backup frame design(the one with the massive wheels) and use that till i can get a new frame machined. i also managed to get my weapon working properly again.

Sting Em was scheduled to fight Fluffy, but the girls were having some trouble changing belts....Bob stepped in and somehow convinced the guy with the clipboard to back off and just wait a bit, till Sting Em was ready. It was a very nice and sportsman like gesture on his part, especially in that the general spirit of the event was to prefer that bots compete rather than not. Some other teams were given plenty of time to get their bots together, plus everyone came to fight, not to win by DQ. even before the finals, which was between 2 of our bots, wouldn't everyone rather see a fight rather than a win by forfeit or dq? Unfortunately the drum on sting Em didn't work and the final was a bit of a dud. The rattler 2 team outdrove Sting Em and breezed to an easy win.

| they had it working for one fight. the second match they tried fixing the drum but couldn't and they ended up screwing with thier drive. So during the second match they lost control of the bot and it ended up driving in circles i forgot how they ended up stopping it because there litterally was no control. El cholo was their mechanically they just seemed to rush the electronics. It looked like such a nice bot to, they just ran out of time. They did not put a vaacum in it because there was no room. But i will tell you this i have never seen a team put as much effort into a bot as they did on cholo. | |

| I tried talking to two kids from west mifflin about the bots. I asked them what kind of speed controllers you guys ended up using for drive and if you had gotten the motorama problems worked out Neither of them had any clue about what i was talking about.....
edit: I never did get an answer actually. From the looks my guess was scorpions?
