Question: Are you going to retire Fluffy 2? or....

small warning: If I am still an advisor to MLEC, next years drums will be spinning around 50k...maybe more. the ones at this year's nat's were spinning almost 40k.

Aircraft earmuffs might be required next year... bounce

50k seems pretty overkill (as if 40k wasn't). From what I remember, the fastest brushless motors in the world are only twice that...

we just need to spray coolent, to keep the endmill like teeth from overheating...lol

It's all about tip speed....do the math....vs a 7" diameter 2 tooth drum, how fast would you have to spin a 2 1/2" diameter single tooth to get higher tip speed....with the big drum spinning 10 to 15k?
